Volunteering Opportunity
A volunteering opportunity has arisen to serve on Bradford Cyrenians Trustees Board as our Treasurer
Candidates need to be highly motivated and have the passion, enthusiasm and commitment towards the prevention of homelessness and poverty and therefore working within our core values and mission will be essential to the role of Treasurer.
You must have experience either paid or voluntary where you have accountancy/financial management experience.
Having some analytical and financial compliance/scrutiny experience will be an added value to the role.
Your availability for evening meetings will be essential.
This post is fully remote access working

Men Standing Up provides a service for men who are suffering from domestic abuse. We offer a confidential Freephone helpline and a floating support service.
You will assist the Service Manager and Supported Housing Officers to offer support to callers over the telephone. You will, after induction, be responsible for support, signposting and offering emotional support to callers. You will be signposting callers to other support agencies and or referring callers to our Men Standing Up floating support scheme.
The job may entail some lone working.
You must be highly motivated and have the passion, enthusiasm and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of callers who are or have been suffering domestic abuse. We are looking for volunteers with the willingness to learn and develop.
A full induction will be offered along with regular supervision and ongoing training. Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
