Floating support
Bradford Cyrenians Floating Support service provides a comprehensive resettlement service to all participants in our temporary accommodation.
The aim
To help and enable the people who benefit from our services to secure appropriate move-on accommodation and to support them to settle into their new home.
Areas of support
Areas of support we provide may include help with moving and establishing a tenancy, help connecting to utilities, accessing local health care, obtaining furniture and household items as well as applying for grants and helping those receiving our support to integrate into the wider community.
Service Provision
The service user’s support plan is drawn up with them from day one of accessing our services. It identifies goals and ambitions set by the service user. Continuing from leaving our temporary accommodation and into their move-on tenancy. The plan is only fully signed off when the support agreement is ended. Service users understand that they can re-engage and access services at any time should they feel they need more support.
